BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval to create a Financial Analyst II position to be in line with the expectations of the Health Department.
BACKGROUND:
Eliminating the current Financial Analyst position and creating a Financial Analyst II position based on increased responsibilities and skillset needed to properly support the Health Department.
DISCUSSION:
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
Human resources will be responsible for posting and screening for the position.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
The increase for salaries and related fringes would be $4,409 at the bottom of the pay scale and $7,502 at the top of the pay scale.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Financial Officer to authorize establishing, posting, and filling one Financial Analyst II position and eliminating one Financial Analyst I position, said new position resulting in an increase of between $4,409 and $7,502 annually depending on the level of the candidate, to be paid from account 2210-601.01.00-702.000 and related fringes, said new position being necessary due to the increase of responsibilities and skillset required for the department, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request being on file with the o...
