Authorization to accept a grant from Region 3 Homeland Security Planning Board for the purchase of 42 Stop-the-Bleed kits. The cost of these kits shall not exceed $1,999.20. This grant fully covers the cost of this purchase
BACKGROUND:
This grant will allow the Genesee County Sheriff's Office to purchase 42 Stop-the-Bleed kits at no cost to the county. This purchase will provide Genesee County Schools with medical response equipment vital when responding to an active shooter or mass casualty event.
