RE: ARPA Funding Allocation Approval - Mundy Twp & Gaines Twp Water Line Project

BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Requesting approval for the allocation of $270,000 of American Rescue Plan Act funding for the Mundy Township and Gaines Township Water Line Project. Funding will be allocated to account number 1010-640.02-899.063.
BACKGROUND:
Mundy & Gaines Townships are in the process of updating and installing new water lines along the Hill Rd Corridor. This project will cover eligible costs associated with that project.
DISCUSSION:
GCMPC staff will work with the undy Township to identify ARPA eligible costs related to the replacement.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
This project will have no impact on Human Resources.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
This project will be funded by American Rescue Plan Act funding. This project has no impact on the general fund.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
This project will have no impact on County facilities.
IMPACT ON TECHNOLOGY:
This project will have no impact on County technology.
CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
This project conforms to the Genesee County Priority of Healthy, Livable, and Safe communities. The installation of the new water lines will improve the health outcomes for residents.
