BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a Purchase Order to Law Enforcement Officers Training Commission for the fiscal year ending 2024, in an amount not to exceed $35,050.00.
BACKGROUND:
The Sheriff’s Office utilizes Mott Community College’s Police Academy. This payment is a reimbursement for the cadets that have already attended the Police Academy. Genesee County is a pass through for this invoice and all the funds come through the State of Michigan.

BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff to authorize a purchase order to Mott Community College, in the amount of $35,050.00 to be paid from account 1010-351.00-910.005, to pay for six Corrections Officers’ attendance at the Winter 2024 Police Academy, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and invoice being on file with the official records of the June 5, 2024 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board).
