RE: Approval to use Waldorf & Sons for an emergency water main repair at Burton Court

BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve Waldorf and Sons emergency repair water main repair.
BACKGROUND:
City of Burton water main Break in the Burton Court parking lot, after the water main shut off is the Responsibility of Genesee County to repair.
DISCUSSION:
Burton Court is currently closed with no water service as water main is off due to the Break.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
Staff will not be able to work as there is no water to the facilities.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Emergency cost is not to Exceed $15,000.00 Act#1010-265.00-930.000
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
No water is available at the facility for staff or public.
IMPACT ON TECHNOLOGY:
na
CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
Need to repair the line for Healthy, Livable & Safe Communities and proper services for staff and the public to use this facility.
