TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, the Genesee County Board of County Commissioners (“this Board”) is authorized to appoint a member to the Mass Transportation Authority (“MTA”) Board of Directors when an appointment term ends or a vacancy occurs; and
WHEREAS, due to a recent resignation, there is currently a vacancy on the MTA Board of Directors, requiring this Board to fill the position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board hereby appoints Nate Henry to be a member of the MTA Board of Directors for the partial term expiring on March 31, 2025, having found that Nate Henry satisfies the requirements set by this Board’s Appointment Policy adopted in Resolution 23-273, the MTA bylaws, and any relevant statutory authority.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the appointee is subject to removal by this Board pursuant to Resolution 23-273, and any relevant statutory authority.
