BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Office of the Genesee County Sheriff is requesting approval for a FY 24/25 purchase order for Satellite Tracking of People, LLC to provide tether equipment and electronic monitoring in the amount of $275,000.00 as has been approved from budget line item 1010-352.00-801.004. (Budget approval through Fiscal*)

Satellite Tracking of People, LLC (Securus Monitoring) was previously approved and contracted per Res 2022-556 in August 2022 to provide services through September 30, 2025.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of the Genesee County Sheriff to authorize a purchase order to Satellite Tracking of People, LLC, to provide tether equipment and electronic monitoring for the period commencing October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025, in the amount of $275,000.00 to be paid from account 1010-352.00-801.004, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the September 11, 2024 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board).
