Approval of an increase to the blanket PO to Aramark for the annual food services to the inmates of the Genesee County Jail.
BACKGROUND:
This adjustment is necessary due to the increased cost of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the mutually agreed contract.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff to authorize an increase to the purchase order to Aramark to provide food and commissary services to inmates housed in the jail, in the amount of $123,000.00 to be paid from account 1010-351.00-762.000, said increase being necessary due to the increase in the Consumer Price Index, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the October 9, 2024 meeting of this Board).
