BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize and sign for the final contract renewal with Plante Moran.
BACKGROUND:
Plante Moran provides Healthcare Consulting services to Genesee County.
DISCUSSION:
Healthcare is a dynamic and expanding industry. Plante Moran provides insight into this industry for Genesee County. They bring new services that provide both more meaningful programs and cost savings.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
Allows for a continuation of healthcare services.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Costs will be paid from account 1010-202.00-804.000. There is an increase of 1.5% increase for the budget year 2025. The budget amendment is included as an attachment.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Deputy Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations to authorize amending the contract between Genesee County and Plante Moran, said amendment being necessary for Plante Moran to continue providing healthcare consulting services to the County for one additional year commencing January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, at a total increased cost not to exceed $173,000.00 to be paid from account 1010-202.00-801.000, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documentation being on file with the official records of the January 22, 2025 meeting of...
