BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of the WeConnect Contract to provide mental health services.
BACKGROUND:
WeConnect offers mental health services for all employees and their families.
DISCUSSION:
WeConnect allows clients to attend unlimited daily virtual group meetings, have one on one sessions with a peer specialist of their choosing, and they have access to other programs for their mental wellness.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
Implementation and administration of the WeConnect program.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
The total amount of this program is $28,800 annually. Budgeting for this will come from account 1010-202.00-801.004. A budget amendment is attached.

Genesee County is dedicated to serving its employees and families to provide meaningful assistance with their mental health. WeConnect meets that objective and helps to create a healthy, safe community. WeConnect is inclusive in that it includes all employees, even those employees and their families not utilizing Genesee County health care through ASR.
