BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a purchase order to SHI for the purchase CorreTrak in the amount of $54,564.00 for inmate tracking software.
BACKGROUND:
CorreTrak is a state-of-the-art inmate tracking system that will work with our current jail management system. CorreTrak will record floor checks, incidences, inmate movement, and special instructions. This information will be stored forensically documenting inmates and sheriff office activity.

A budget amendment is in process to reallocate costs for this purchase. The cost of this project has been vetted through OMNIA. The purchase will be paid from accounts 1010-305.00-933.001-$30,544, 1010-305.00-978.000-$9,820, and 1010-305.00-801.004-$14,200.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
Installation of placards.
IMPACT ON TECHNOLOGY:
This project will require access to the internet. IT has approved the specs for this produce.
CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
This purchase conforms to the county priority by helping the Sheriff's Office create a safer community.
