BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Office of Fiscal Services is requesting the attached budget amendments to update the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, budget.
BACKGROUND:
Periodically throughout the fiscal year, amendments are needed to align budget as additional information is available to determine projected actual costs.
DISCUSSION:
These adjustments are needed to adjust revenue and expenditure accounts to reflect actual activity for the fiscal year.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
None.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
• Amend GIS budget to reflect vacation payouts in the fiscal year.
• Reallocation of Sheriff Administration budget to allow for repairs to the dive truck.
• Reallocation of Sheriff Corrections budget to upgrade the fingerprinting Kiosk as recommended by Genesee County I.T.
• Reallocation of Sheriff Corrections budget to allow for the upgrade of a maternity room for employees.
• Amend Trust budget to reflect actual activity.
• Amendment to Animal Control budget for actual activity and repairs.
• Reallocation of Planning budget to allocate software charges.
• Amendment to Motor Pool budget for required fuel pump compliance testing.
• Reallocation of the CSHCS supplies budget within the Health Department.
• Amendment to ARPA budget for training.
• Reallocation of GCCARD Senior Nutrition supplies
• Correction to amendment from resolution 2024-193 for FOC Deputy

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Financial Officer to authorize multiple budget amendments to the FY24 budget, said amendments being fully described in the memorandum request, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the May 15, 2024 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board), and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to make the budget adjustments, as needed, to effectuate this resolution
