BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (GCCARD) requests authorization from this committee, with recommendation to the full Board of Commissioners at the next regularly meeting, to approve an increase in purchase order #22-05499 for Cintas for an amount not to exceed $31,500.00.
BACKGROUND:
Currently, Cintas provides weekly rug service, paper products, janitorial supplies, and uniforms for GCCARD buildings at 601 N. Saginaw St., Flint, MI 48502 and 2727 Lippincott Blvd., Flint, MI 48507.
DISCUSSION:
Funding for this current purchase order was previously approved for an amount not to exceed $25,000.00, as per resolution #2022-866. GCCARD is requesting an increase of $6,500.00 for the remainder of the 2022-2023 fiscal year, from October 01, 2022, through September 30, 2023, due to vendor price increases.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Executive Director of the Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (GCCARD) to authorize an amendment to Purchase Order #22-05499, of an increase of $6,500.00 with the total amount not to exceed $31,500.00, to Cintas, to enable GCCARD to purchase kitchen supplies to serve the Genesee County Seniors, to be paid from the following accounts: 2731-697.16-801.002 ($6,500.00); 2731-697.15-801.002 ($12,500.00); and 2733-697.15-801.002 ($12,500.00), is approved (a copy of the memorandum request being on file with the official records of September 06, 2023 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board) and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to record the amendment.
