BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve Plante Moran Group Benefit Advisors contract.
BACKGROUND:
Plante Moran provides strategic consulting services related to the health and welfare benefit plans to optimize business performance.
DISCUSSION:
This is a contract renewal and the annual adjustment is accordance with our current agreement with Plante Moran.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
None.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Costs will be paid from account 1010-202.00-804.000. There is a 1.5% increase effective January 2024. A budget amendment for this increase is included in a separate request.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Human Resources Deputy Director to authorize amending the contract between Genesee County and Plante Moran Group Benefit Advisors II, LLC, whereby Plante Moran provides strategic consulting services related to the County’s health and welfare benefit plans, said amendment being necessary to extend the contract through December 31, 2025, and to increase the price by 1.5% to a total of $170,520.00 for the year to be paid from account 1010-202.00-804.000, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the February 7, 2024 meeting of the Governmental Operations Committee of this Board), and the Chairperson of this Board is authorized to execute the contract amendment on behalf of Genesee County.
