BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Office of Fiscal Services is requesting the attached budget amendments to update the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024 budget.
BACKGROUND:
Periodically throughout the fiscal year, amendments are needed to align budget as additional information is available to determine projected actual costs.
DISCUSSION:
These adjustments are needed to adjust revenue and expenditure accounts to reflect actual activity for the fiscal year.

• Amend VBRD Grant budgets to reflect activity.
• Amend Circuit Court budgets to reflect projected trends.
• Amendment Board office for increase in expenses.
• Amendment for Fiscal Service for the purchase of check stock.
• Amendment for Probate Court budget to match current trends.
• Amend Arrowhead Grant budget for equipment purchases.
• Amendment to allow for expense of expiring CDBG Grant funds.
• Amendment for acceptance of Health Departments Measles Response Grant.
• Amendment for acceptance of VTC Grant.
• Amendments to GCCARD budgets to match Grants and match current trends.
• Increase General Fund Revenue to account for increase LCSA revenues.
• Amendment to MCOLES Training fund for actual revenue and expenses.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Financial Officer to authorize multiple budget amendments to the FY24 budget, said amendments being fully described in the memorandum request, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the July 17, 2024 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board), and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to make the budget adjustments, as needed, to effectuate this resolution.
