BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Fiscal Services is requesting the attached budget amendments to update the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, budget.
BACKGROUND:
Periodically throughout the fiscal year, amendments are needed to align budget as additional information is available to determine projected actual costs.
DISCUSSION:
These adjustments are needed to adjust revenue and expenditure accounts to reflect actual activity for the fiscal year.

• Amending Medical Examiners budget for current trends.
• Amending Fiscal Services budget for current trends.
• Amendment for H2A for District Court Consolidation.
• Amending MSU Co-op Extension budget for building upgrades in new offices.
• Amending CSA charges to actuals for year end.
• Amending various Sheriff budgets for current trends.
• Amending Planning budgets for year-end forecasted revenues and expenses.
• Amendments for capital project funds for current year’s activity.
• Amendment for the purchase of furniture for the District Court consolidation.
• Amendment to Circuit Court to match current trends.
• Amendment to Parks KGCB Grant budgets for current year activity.
• Amending Health Department budgets for remaining fiscal year activity.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Financial Officer to authorize multiple budget amendments to the FY25 budget, said amendments being fully described in the memorandum request, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the September 3, 2025 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board), and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to make the budget adjustments, as needed, to effectuate this resolution.
