BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Office of Fiscal Services is requesting the attached budget amendments to update the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, budget.
BACKGROUND:
Periodically throughout the fiscal year, amendments are needed to align budget as additional information is available to determine projected actual costs.
DISCUSSION:
These adjustments are needed to adjust revenue and expenditure accounts to reflect actual activity for the fiscal year.

- Amendment to account for increased interest revenues.
- Amendment to Prosecutor’s STOP grant to match current trends.
- Amendment to Prosecutors High Crime budget to reflect grant activity.
- Amending Circuit Court Child Care Fund grant to match current trends.
- Amending Veterans Treatment Court grant to match current trends.
- Amending Adult Drug Court grant to match current trends.
- Amendment to Adult Felony Court approved in Document Review item 24-396.
- Amendment to GCCARD Weatherization to include County Appropriation approved in Resolution 2024-715
- Amendment to GCCARD grants to match current trends and account for In-Kind.
- Amendment to Motorpool budget to account for current trends.
- Quarterly transfer of savings from vacant positions to the Capital improvement fund.
- Amendment for the increase in Trust activity.
- Increase in Animal Control budget for repairs.
- Amendment to account for the sale and transfer of funds of GCCARD building.
- Adjustment to increase education reimbursement funds.
- Amendments for several General Fund departments including the Sheriff’s Office, Board Office, Fiscal Services and Elections to account for current trends.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Financial Officer to authorize multiple budget amendments to the FY24 budget, said amendments being fully described in the memorandum request, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the August 14, 2024 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board), and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to make the budget adjustments, as needed, to effectuate this resolution.
