BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Fiscal Services is requesting the attached budget amendments to update the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, budget.
BACKGROUND:
Periodically throughout the fiscal year, amendments are needed to align budget as additional information is available to determine projected actual costs.
DISCUSSION:
These adjustments are needed to adjust revenue and expenditure accounts to reflect actual activity for the fiscal year.

IMPACT ON BUDGET:
• Amend Delinquent Tax for future forfeiture claims
• GCCARD Vehicle Purchase Amendment
• Amendment for the installation of panic buttons at the Tower.
• Amending Commissary collections budget and transfers for current trends.
• Amendment for remaining analog phone lines.
• Amending Prosecutors SAKI grant for current trends.
• Amending GCCARD grants for current trends.
• Amendment to GCCARD budgets for in-kind waiver reduction.
• Amend insurance funds for increases in health care costs.
• Added line items for MSU Extension building appraisal and Youth Commission costs.
• Amending sheriff budgets to align with current needs.
• Amend Health Department budgets to match grant awards and trends.
•Amendment to adjust capital project funds for upcoming projects

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Financial Officer to authorize multiple budget amendments to the FY25 budget, said amendments being fully described in the memorandum request, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the May 21, 2025 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board), and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to make the budget adjustments, as needed, to effectuate this resolution.
