Approval of a purchase order to Michigan State Police for the fiscal year ending 2024, in an amount not to exceed $53,900.00 for the purchase of the Records Management System; the cost for the purchase order will be paid from account 1010-351.00-933.001
BACKGROUND:
This PO is an annual purchase that is currently in the 2024 budget. This PO allows the Sheriff’s Office to access PremierOne. PremierOne is a record management system that forensically saves reports and jail records. PremierOne also allows for data sharing between law enforcement agencies.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff to authorize a purchase order to Michigan State Police for the annual purchase of the PremierOne records management system, at a cost not to exceed $53,900.00 to be paid from account 1010-351.00-933.001, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the April 17, 2024 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board).
