BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The County is requesting the Board to approve the issuances of purchase orders to AJP for retrieve and storage of County documents in an amount not to exceed $42,800.00.
BACKGROUND:
For years the County has had facilities to store various court files and pertinent County documents. Currently, these documents must be stored and periodically retrieved when needed by the Courts or Clerk’s Offices. This request is just for continuation of existing services.
DISCUSSION:
This request is for continuation of services in order for all of the County’s documents to be stored and retrieved when needed.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Purchasing Administrator to authorize an expenditure, in the form of a purchase order to AJP Commercial Shredding, LLC, to pay for the storage and retrieval of county documents needed by the Courts or County Clerk’s Office, at a total cost not to exceed $42,800.00 to be paid from accounts 1010-280.00-801.004 ($28,227.00), 1010-283.00-801.004 ($3,472.00), 1010-294.00-801.004 ($981.00), 1010-662.00-801.004 ($9,215.00) and 1010-216.00-801.004 ($905.00), for the period ending September 30, 2026, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request to be placed on file with official records of the April 15, 2026 meeting of this Board).
