Approval to enter a blanket PO to Bob Barker for FY26 in the amount of $8,000.00 to be paid from 1010-351.00-774.000
BACKGROUND:
Bob Barker has been a long-time approved and trusted County vendor servicing both the Genesee County Jail and the Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center. This vendor is also part of the Omnia Partners (for pricing).
DISCUSSION:
For 50 years Bob Barker Company has introduced many new, innovative products to help solve customers’ problems and make corrections and detention facilities safer. Bob Barker Company offers the broadest product line and largest inventory of corrections and detention supplies to federal, state and local government agencies and select businesses.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff to authorize an expenditure, in the form of a blanket purchase order, to Bob Barker to provide bedding-related supplies for inmates housed in the County Jail, at a total cost not to exceed $8,000.00 to be paid from account 1010-351.00-774.000, for fiscal year 2025-2026, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the December 3, 2025 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board).
