BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Office of the Genesee County Sheriff is requesting approval for a FY 25/256 purchase order for VitalCore Health Strategies LLC for annual healthcare services to the inmates housed at the Genesee County Jail in the amount of $5,551,539.66 as has been approved from the following budget line items: 2230-255.01-872.037 ($5,351,539.66) and 1010-351.00-835.003 ($200,000.00). (Budget approval through Fiscal*)
BACKGROUND:
VitalCore Health Strategies LLC has been approved and contracted to provide these services through past Res 2025-1438 April 2025 with an agreement through September 30, 2030.
DISCUSSION:
Per RES-2025-1438 as approved by the Board and Corp Counsel as attached with this current FY 25/26 request.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of the Genesee County Sheriff to authorize an expenditure, in the form of a purchase order to, VitalCore Health Strategies LLC to provide health care services to inmates in the County Jail for the period commencing October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, at a cost not to exceed $5,551,539.66 to be paid from accounts 2230-255.01-872.037 ($5,351,539.66) and 1010-351.00-835.003 ($200,000.00), is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the September 17, 2025 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board).
