BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a request by Facilities and Operations to increase allowable spending with JDR Drakes Auto (Northwest Auto) in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 for FYE 2027
BACKGROUND:
By approving this it will ensure Motor Pool is able to purchase parts and repairs that are necessary to maintain county owned vehicles for the year of FYE 2027.
DISCUSSION:
JDR Drakes Auto (Northwest Auto) provides miscellaneous vehicle parts. Purchases are made based on availability and cost.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Director of Facilities and Operations to authorize increasing the allowable spend with JDR Drakes Auto (Northwest Auto), in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00 to be paid from account 6610-234.00-779.000, for the purpose of purchasing miscellaneous vehicle parts during FYE 2027, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request being on file with the official records of the September 16, 2026 meeting of the Public Works Committee of this Board).
