Approval of a Purchase Order for Scioto Services in an amount of $6000.00 to be paid from account 2920-356.00-801.028 to add cleaning the Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center Day Treatment Program through December, 2024
BACKGROUND:
On April 19th, 2017, resolution #17-169 was approved to enter a contract with Scioto Services for janitorial services for various County facilities, and additional facilities as identified.
DISCUSSION:
The Scioto Services contract is currently on a month-by-month basis through December 2024 and janitorial services are provided for multiple County buildings. The Day Treatment Program has been operational since August 26, 2024, and janitorial services are needed to keep the environment healthy and safe for the youth in the program.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Family Division Administrator to authorize Purchase Order for Scioto Services, LLC, to provide janitorial services at the Genesee County Juvenile Justice Center not extending beyond December 31, 2024, at a total cost not to exceed $6000.00 to be paid from account 2920-356.00-801.028 is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the September 30, 2024 meeting of the Governmental Operations Committee of this Board).
