BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Parks and Recreation staff requests the approval of a Professional Services Contract with CXT Inc. for the purchase and delivery of one (1) accessible double vault style restroom, in the amount of $79,251.00 for Richfield County Park.
BACKGROUND:
The vault restroom will be placed at Richfield County Park in support of the development project associated with the awarded Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund grant TF22-0035 for improvements at Richfield Park along the Iron Belle Trail.
DISCUSSION:
This restroom will be placed beside the BMX track at Richfield Park with direct connection to the Iron Belle Trail, increasing amenities to park users, BMX users, and trail users.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Parks and Recreation Director to authorize entering into a Professional Services Contract between Genesee County and CXT Inc., in an amount not to exceed $79,251.00, for the purchase and delivery of one (1) Double Rocky Mountain vault restroom for Richfield County Park, said expenditure to be paid from account 2088-770.22-975.000, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the January 17, 2024 meeting of the Public Works Committee of this Board), the Chairperson of this Board is authorized to execute the contract on behalf of Genesee County and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to record the attached budget amendment.
