BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval to submit a purchase order request, in the amount not to exceed $794.00, for Master Electric, per Purchasing Policy, vendor will exceed the $30,000 threshold
BACKGROUND:
Master Electric is an approved vendor for the County.
DISCUSSION:
The request is to have Master Electric install a camera drop to support the installation of a new security camera covering the garage area at the Tower. Adding camera coverage in this area will increase security and improve the County’s ability to monitor activity around this part of the building.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
There is no impact on Human Resources.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
The request not to exceed $794.00, to be paid out of the following account - 1010-265.00-930.000.

There is no impact on Facilities.

CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
This request conforms to the County priority of Healthy, Livable & Safe Communities by supporting the installation of a new security camera. The camera drop will improve security coverage and help maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and the public.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Information Officer to authorize a purchase order to Master Electric, to install a camera drop at a cost not to exceed $794.00 to be paid from account 1010-265.00-930.000, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on the file with the official records of the July 15, 2026 meeting of the Public Works Committee of this Board).
