BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of entering a blanket PO for FY26/27 to vendor Grainger for the purchase of general janitorial/inmate related supplies in the amount of $25,000.00 to be paid from Supplies Other account: 1010-351.00-752.000.
BACKGROUND:
Grainger has been an approved vendor to the County for years, serving several departments within the County including the Office of the Sheriff, Facilities and Operations, and GC Parks.
DISCUSSION:
This vendor is a member of the MiDeal Contract list for cooperative purchasing and pricing.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff to authorize an expenditure, in the form of a Purchase Order to Grainger, for the purchase of general janitorial/inmate related supplies for FYE 2027, in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00 to be paid from account 1010-351.00-752.000 (Supplies Other), is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the September 16, 2026 meeting of the Governmental Operations Committee of this Board).
