Approval of a Purchase Order to Michigan State Police for the fiscal year ending 2023, in an amount not to exceed $51,000.00 for the purchase of the Records Management System; the cost for the Purchase Order will be paid from accounts 1010-351.00-933.001
BACKGROUND:
This PO is an annual purchase that is currently in the 2023 budget. This PO allows the Sheriff’s Office to access PremierOne. PremierOne is a record management system that forensically saves reports and jail records. PremierOne also allows for data sharing between law enforcement agencies.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, By this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff to authorize a purchase order to Michigan State Police for the annual purchase of a record management system, in an amount not to exceed $51,000.00; the cost for the Purchase Order will be paid from accounts; 1010-351.00-933.001, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request being on file with the official records of the October 11, 2023 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board).
