BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of authorizing additional purchases through vendor Motorola Solutions for the remainder of FY25-26 in an amount not to exceed an estimated (additional) $10,000.00 to be split across Admin, D.B. and Medics.
BACKGROUND:
The original camera systems in the vehicles were all purchased with Admin, D.B. and Medics accounts. For reference, the recent Reso 2026-0412 provided for the cloud storage service renewals for 50x in-car systems.
DISCUSSION:
Per Purchasing, the current aggregate spends or encumbrance with this vendor is $72,311.96.

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff to authorize an expenditure, in the form of Purchase Orders to Motorola Solutions, to purchase additional as-needed, in-car camera parts and accessories, at a cost not to exceed an additional $10,000.00 to be paid from various division motor pool accounts for the remaining FY25-26, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the July 15, 2026 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board).
