BACKGROUND:
GCCARD has received a Notice of Award from MDHHS for WAP in the amount of $406,371.00. This funding will allow GCCARD Weatherization to improve home energy efficiency for eligible low-income Genesee County residents through the most cost-effective measures possible. This request is for a period commencing July 01, 2024, through July 30, 2025.
DISCUSSION:
The WAP DOE PY24 grant in the amount of $406,371.00 will allow GCCARD’s WAP to improve home energy efficiency, health, and safety for eligible low-income Genesee County residents.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
There will be no impact on Human Resources.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
The grant award of $406,371.00 will be deposited into the fund numbers as follows: 2742 and 2744. The budget has been uploaded into the County’s budget module.
