BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Fiscal Services is requesting the attached budget amendments to update the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, budget.
BACKGROUND:
Periodically throughout the fiscal year, amendments are needed to align budget as additional information is available to determine projected actual costs.
DISCUSSION:
These adjustments are needed to adjust revenue and expenditure accounts to reflect actual activity for the fiscal year.

• Establish Medical Stop Loss budget for FYE 2025.
• Amendments to GCCARD to match grant award budgets.
• Amendments to Parks and Recreations budgets to reflect current trends.
• Amendment to Circuit Court SAMHSA grant for current activities.
• Amendment to various Prosecutor budgets for current trends
• Amendment to various Sheriff budgets for current trends.
• Adjustment to recapture CDBG 2023 funds.
• Amendments to capital improvement budgets for current activity.
• Amendment for Medical Examiners budget to align with current activity.
• Amending Elections budgets for current year tends.
• Amendment to Register of Deeds Technology Fund budget for actual activity.
• Amendment for Motor Pool current year trends.
• Amending Board Office expenses for current year trend.
• Amendment for GIS to reflect current year activity.
• Amendment to capture increased costs of settled contract negotiations across county departments.
• Amendment for Equalization department to reallocate costs from salaries and fringes to a contract for staffing vacancy

TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Chief Financial Officer to authorize multiple budget amendments to the FY25 budget, said amendments being fully described in the memorandum request, is approved (a copy of the memorandum request and supporting documents being on file with the official records of the April 16, 2025 meeting of the Finance Committee of this Board), and the Chief Financial Officer is directed to make the budget adjustments, as needed, to effectuate this resolution.
