RE: Community Development Program Purchase Order - Contractor Costs
BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval to authorize a purchase order for budgeted Genesee County Home Improvement Program contractor costs during FY 2024.
BACKGROUND:
The purchase order covers costs for the following approved contractors: Boyle Constructors, Inc.; Bedrock Building, Inc.; Csiki Builders, LLC; CTI & Associates; Cymex, LLC; Faithful Pillars, LLC., Fitch Builders, LLC. and Karma Environmental Solutions, LLC. The amounts are from funds that are in the proposed FY 2024 budget. 
DISCUSSION:
The listed contractors are approved through a process in coordination with the Purchasing Department. Bids and project awards are only given to those who have been approved.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
BE IT RESOLVED, by this Board of County Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan, that the request by the Director of Planning to authorize a Purchase Order for budgeted Home Improvement Program costs during the FY 23/24 from the following approved contractors: Boyle Constructors, Inc.; Bedrock Building, Inc.; Csiki Builders, LLC; CTI & Associates; Cymex, LLC; Faithful Pillars, LLC, Fitch Builders, LLC, and Karma Environmental Solutions, LLC, to be paid from accounts 2340-731.00-866.239 ($550,000.00), 2360-731.01-866.239 ($200,000.00), 2336-731.00-866.239 ($80,000.00), 2340-706.00-866.239 ($100,000.00), 2334-704.18-899.000 ($150,000.00), and 2335-704.18-899.000 ($70,000.00), is approved (a copy of the memorandum request being on file with the official records of the September 6, 2023 meeting of the Community and Economic Development Committee of this Board).
