BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
At this time, staff is requesting approval to renew the Neighborly Software for the period from 6/30/26 to 6/29/2027 and for Commissioner Dale K. Weighill to sign the contract extension. This is the third extension to the original agreement. The annual amount for 13 licenses is $31,980. Staff is also requesting approval of a corresponding purchase order and budget adjustment.
BACKGROUND:
GCMPC staff uses a grant management software program called Neighborly to assist with tracking Community Develop Programs including Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) projects. Staff researched software solutions available and in 2021, found Neighborly Software as the most suitable for our needs. This software is set up for grant management activities based on the current regulations and guidelines of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The software streamlines the submission of documents from our subrecipients and assists with tracking financial information throughout the grant management process.

These costs will be allocated between the following grant funding sources: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Grant (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG).
DISCUSSION:
These costs will be allocated between various accounts in the following funds: 2337, 2340, 2350, 2360.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
There will be no impact on Human Resources.
