BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Request approval of resolution to amend the 2024 Apportionment Report
BACKGROUND:
The Apportionment Report is amended annually to reflect any necessary changes to Taxable Value, Millage Rates, Special Assessments, etc. levied within each Township and City in Genesee County.
DISCUSSION:
Attached please find the "2024 Tax Apportionment Report for Genesee County, Michigan" that has been amended in its entirety to include the following: Gaines Township Fire Department Equipment Millage - The 2024 L-4029 was amended to include the Fire Department Equipment Millage rate of 1.0000 mills approved by the voters at the November 5, 2024, election, which resulted in the revisions to the following pages: 18. Several local units of government have submitted revised Special Assessment Totals. The following pages have revisions to Special Assessments: 4, 6, 10, 12, 18, 26, 28, 30, 34, 36, 40, and 50
