BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of the Brennan Elm Park Senior Community Corporation contract for the fiscal year 2026-2027 in an amount not to exceed $149,888.00.
BACKGROUND:
This annual contract allows the senior centers to receive reimbursement for approved budgeted monthly expenses from the Genesee County Senior Millage.
DISCUSSION:
The Brennan Senior Center receives funding from the senior millage to provide quality services and programs to Genesee County Senior Citizens aged 60 and older. We are requesting a $30,000 start-up award for the senior center to cover expenses they cannot afford to cover on a reimbursement basis. Brennan would spend this amount throughout the year and provide invoices, receipts, and any other required documents needed by our office.
