BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
District Court is requesting an emergency purchase order to JAVS for the maintenance of
BACKGROUND:
An agreement was signed on December 4, 2024 with JAVS to provide technical maintenance and service January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025. It was discovered that proper authority has not been received to continue services and subject to suspension. This service is necessary to maintain our court recording equipment and we currently have a recording microphone in a courtroom that is not working and JAVS will not repair until remittance of payment.
DISCUSSION:
Without the repair being made, the microphone cannot be used and is impacting the quality of the required court recording of proceedings.

The total amount being requested is $37,550.00 and the following accounts will be charged for this request: 1010-287.00-801.000 $8,000.00; 1010-287.00-801.004 $8,000.00; 1010-287.00-933.001 $21,550.00
