BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (GCCARD) requests authorization from this committee, with recommendation to the full Board of Commissioners at the next regularly meeting, to approve an increase in purchase order #22-05499 for Cintas for an amount not to exceed $31,500.00.
BACKGROUND:
Currently, Cintas provides weekly rug service, paper products, janitorial supplies, and uniforms for GCCARD buildings at 601 N. Saginaw St., Flint, MI 48502 and 2727 Lippincott Blvd., Flint, MI 48507.
DISCUSSION:
Funding for this current purchase order was previously approved for an amount not to exceed $25,000.00, as per resolution #2022-866. GCCARD is requesting an increase of $6,500.00 for the remainder of the 2022-2023 fiscal year, from October 01, 2022, through September 30, 2023, due to vendor price increases.

Funding for this purchase order is available in account numbers: 2731-697.16-801.002 for $6,500.00, 2731-697.15-801.002 for $12,500.00, and 2733-697.15-801.002 for $12,500.00. No General Fund dollars are being requested.
