Approval of the Amendment to Service Agreement with AT&T
BACKGROUND:
AT&T circuits are used to connect County buildings. They help staff share information quickly and safely between offices, data centers, and other key locations. The network has been reliable over the years and supports many of the systems we use every day. It works well with our existing setup and has met the County's needs for speed, security, and performance.
DISCUSSION:
This is a pre-existing contract, extending the terms with AT&T for an additional 12 months covering from July 31, 2025 to July 31, 2026. The extension will continue to provide network connectivity to several County buildings and support day-to-day operations. Renewing the contract will help avoid service interruptions and ensure staff can continue working without disruption.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
There is no impact on Human Resources.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Approximate total for the year extension would be $121,464.00. The breakdown of shared expenses and budget information is on separate attachment.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
There is no impact on Facilities.
IMPACT ON TECHNOLOGY:
