RE: Approval to enter into a contract with Rowe for engineering services for parking lots on Beach St., Saginaw St, Juvenile Justice Center, and other areas for the Parks Department in an amount not to exceed $317,600.00

BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Facilities and Operations is requesting that the Board of Commissioner’s approve a contract with Rowe for engineering services to aforementioned parking lot locations.
BACKGROUND:
Parking lots at these locations have been slated as capital improvements. This request will start the work on reviewing and developing the plans to improve the parking lots for bid specifications to be developed.
DISCUSSION:
Purchasing Department issued a request for qualifications back in March 2026. Various engineering and architectural firms submitted resumes. An evaluation team was assembled to go through each submission. The team selected firms that had experience in developing and rehabbing parking lots. Three of the highest scoring firms were issued a proposal for these mentioned parking lots. Rowe was selected to perform the work.
