BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a Purchase Order to FIDLAR Technologies in the amount of $3,600 for Online Deed Search tool.
BACKGROUND:
FIDLAR Technologies is the Record Management Vendor contracted for the County Clerk and Register of Deeds Office. FIDLAR houses all of our online records including property records.
DISCUSSION:
This additional software feature would allow residents to conduct basic searches for property information for free. Currently these searches cost either a one-time fee of $8.75 per search query or a subscription-based service. This software would allow for free searches of very basic information to ensure the correct document is being viewed before paying for the record or conducting the paid search.
