BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
The Specialty Courts - 7th Circuit Court - are requesting approval to pay invoices from InvolvedDad for services rendered to participants of the specialty court programs.
BACKGROUND:
The specialty court programs have recently been referring participants in the specialty court programs to InvolvedDad for batterer's intervention and parenting classes. These services are invoiced to the specialty courts for those participants who demonstrate an inability to pay for services. Total cost for the remainder of the fiscal year is not to exceed $3,500 total. $2,000 will be moved from 2925-283.00-900.006 to 2925-283.00-801.001. $1,500 will be moved from 2924-326.00-900.006 to 2924-326.00-801.001 County-wide services exceed $30,000, which precipitates the present request for a Purchase Order. The budget amendment was submitted in a separate request in Legistar for all of the specialty court grants.

IMPACT ON BUDGET:
The amounts for anticipated expenses will be reallocated from current incentive line items to a new line item within each grant for services from InvolvedDad. $2,000 will be allocated from current line item 2925-283.00-900.006 and $1,500 will be allocated from current line item 2924-326.00-900.006 to new line items 2925-283.00-801.001 and 2924-326.00-801.001 within the grants for InvolvedDad.
