BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Parks and Recreation staff requests the approval to purchase miscellaneous aggregate, for FYE 2027, in an amount not to exceed $75,000, from the following vendors:
EDW; Tri City; Michigan Materials & Aggregate; Northern Michigan Aggregate; Fisher Brothers; Mark Martin & Sons; Rock Bottom Stone Supply
BACKGROUND:
Miscellaneous aggregate is used for Parks projects and repairs. Aggregate is necessary for the maintenance and improvement of park roads, parking areas, trails, drainage systems, and other infrastructure used by residents and visitors of Genesee County. Proactively maintaining assets helps prevent more costly repairs and improves public safety and accessibility.
DISCUSSION:
Vendor usage will be based on availability, schedule, and cost.
