BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Parks and Recreation staff requests approval to award ITB #26-504 - Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) to Superior Groundcover, Inc. for a total contract amount not to exceed $43,000.00.
BACKGROUND:
ITB #26-504 was advertised by the Genesee County Purchasing Department. One bid was received. The bid was reviewed by Director and Director of Facilities Management.
DISCUSSION:
Parks has worked with Superior Groundcover, Inc. for multiple projects and were satisfied. Superior Groundcover, Inc. will furnish, deliver, and install EWF, at a rate of $39.00 per cubic yard, in the following parks: Bassett, Broome, Bundy, Cook, Delaware, Hasselbring, Mann Hall, McClellan, Sarginson, Bluebell Beach, Flushing County Park, Linden County Parks, Riverside West, and Woodlawn.

NO USE OF GENERAL FUND.
Expenses to be paid from accounts:
2084-788.00-864.001 - $33,400
2080-770.01-930.000 - $9,600
