TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, the Genesee County Board of County Commissioners (“this Board”) is authorized to appoint a member to the Genesee Health System (“GHS”) Board of Directors when an appointment term ends or a vacancy occurs; and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Charles Winfrey’s term ended on March 31, 2025, thereby creating a vacancy on the GHS Board of Directors, requiring this Board to fill said vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board hereby reappoints Commissioner Charles Winfrey as a member of the GHS Board of Directors to serve out a new term expiring March 31, 2028, having found that Commissioner Winfrey satisfies the requirements set by this Board’s Appointment Policy Resolution No. 02-124, as amended by Resolution No. 17-487, and any relevant statutory authority.
