BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval to renew the UKG Kronos System subscription, not to exceed $78,645.00
BACKGROUND:
Kronos is the County's time clock system required for hourly employee tracking and is the main system for our Payroll Department.
DISCUSSION:
UKG Kronos serves as the County's timekeeping and workforce management system and supports critical daily operations related to payroll, attendance, scheduling, and leave tracking. Renewing the subscription will ensure continued access to the system for departments that rely on it for accurate employee time reporting and workforce management functions. The renewal also provides ongoing vendor support and system updates, which are important for maintaining system performance and reliability. Continued use of this platform helps avoid disruptions to payroll-related processes and supports efficient operations across the County.
IMPACT ON HUMAN RESOURCES:
There is no impact on Human Resources.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
This renewal is a budgeted expense, not to exceed $78,645.00; to be paid out of the following accounts - 1010-194.00-933.001 - $23,485.77 and pre-paid account 1010-000.00-123.00 - $55,159.23 to cover a period from June 14, 2026 through June 13, 2027.
