BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Genesee County Parks and Recreation staff request approval to post and fill one (1) Park Ranger position.
BACKGROUND:
With development and activation of the State Park, increased presence and patrol is required to ensure the safety of visitors to the State Park in Flint. This position will be assigned to the State Park area and will provide coverage on opposite shifts of the current Park Ranger assigned to the area.
DISCUSSION:
Paid by State Park funds.
NO USE OF PARKS MILLAGE FUNDS.
NO USE OF GENERAL FUND.

To post and commence the hiring process.
IMPACT ON BUDGET:
Position to be paid from account 2080-770.34-702.000 and related fringe accounts.
IMPACT ON FACILITIES:
