BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval to roll over into FY25 originally approved Board Reso 2024-029 approved in January 2024 for the FY ending 2024 for a Purchase Order to Motorola, in the amount not to exceed $33,090.00 for the purchase of two Mobile License Plate Reader (LPR) Systems; the cost for the Purchase Order to be paid from account 1010-316.01-978.000.

This LPR system allows the Sheriff's Office access to real time actionable intelligence. This LPR system is the only system that is connected with Homeland Security and Border Patrol.
DISCUSSION:
The prior vendor was approved to Vigilant Solutions, LLC which has been acquired by Motorola. All prior Reso references, including the funding Reso 2023-725 has all been provided in the attachments with this request, including the acquisition notice from Vigilant to Motorola Solutions.
