BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of a proposed amendment to the 2024-2025 Appropriation Resolution reallocating expenditures with the Community Corrections budget.
BACKGROUND:
The FY25 Application Plan was approved by the State-OCC and this Board (RES-2024-1289). It was then approved for a budget adjustment request by the State-OCC and this board in July 2025 (RES-2025+1956). Genesee County Community Corrections (GCCC) requested another reallocation to the expenditures within the budget to allow one more staff member the opportunity to attend the 2025 NAPSA Conference.
DISCUSSION:
GCCC submitted a budget adjustment request (BAR #@ - Attached) to the State-OCC decreasing Contractual Services under administration by $2,500.00 to increase Travel under administration by $2,500.00. No program services will be affected by this adjustment. This change will allow one more staff member to attend the upcoming 2025 NAPSA conference in September.
GCCC received BAR #2 approval from the State-OCC on July 23, 2025 (Amended Expenditure Report Attached). Genesee County Account numbers detailing these changes are also attached.

CONFORMITY TO COUNTY PRIORITIES:
The monitoring of the budget to actual is a function of long-term financial stability. Changes to this grant conform to the County priorities by allowing the Office of Community Corrections to adjust budgets within the fiscal year.
