BOARD ACTION REQUESTED:
Approval of authorizing additional purchases through vendor Motorola Solutions for the remainder of FY25-26 in an amount not to exceed an estimated $5,500.00 (as quotes are provided by the vendor for said necessary purchases).
BACKGROUND:
Daily use across the Office of the Genesee County Sheriff out in the field serving the community across the county as well as within the Tower creates natural wear and tear, sometimes breakdown on crucial systems requiring replacement parts.
DISCUSSION:
Per Purchasing, the current aggregate spends or encumbrance with this vendor is $72,311.96. Motorola being on record with the State of Michigan; MiDeal Contract list; Contract #MA190000001544 in the Category "Public Safety" with a current end-date of 12/31/2029.
