TO THE HONORABLE CHAIRPERSON AND MEMBERS OF THE GENESEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, GENESEE COUNTY, MICHIGAN
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN:
WHEREAS, the Genesee County Board of County Commissioners (“this Board”) is authorized to appoint representatives to the Valley Area Agency on Aging (“VAAA”) Board of Directors when an appointment term ends or a vacancy occurs; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy on the VAAA Board of Directors requiring this Board to fill the position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board hereby appoints Richard Wagonlander to the VAAA Board of Directors, for a two-year term commencing on January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025, having found that Richard Wagonlander satisfies the requirements set by this Board’s Appointment Policy Resolution, no. 02-124, as amended by Resolution no. 17-487, and any relevant statutory authority.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the appointee is subject to removal by this Board pursuant to Resolution no. 02-124, as amended by Resolution no. 17-487, and any relevant statutory authority.
